Some Sunday Drivers...!

Ah...nothing like a Sunday drive in the big city! Not just this big city...but ANY big city!

Is it any wonder that so many folks want out? Just take a look at this craziness!

Man, I look at this and I can only shake my head in disbelief! What ever happened to common sense and courtesy when driving? This is just downright scary! I think this is as good a reason to get the hell out of Dodge, ya know?

C'mon, my friends, let's get some coffee and sit outside for a bit!

looks like most of them got out of it alive.

life is too busy and stressful in the city isnt it.

Hows your truck working out? You like it?

Hubby is NOT going to see these pictures.....because I will get some smarty-pants remark about MY driving. Yup. I'm one of THOSE people....which is why he usually doesn't let me drive. I am now "Chief Navigator". Sigh......

Too funny but a bit scary. I hope there were survivors. Makes you wonder what kind of people are getting a license to drive.

The modern demo derby city style. The woods look better all the time.

Mighty impressive set of pictures. The wife and I were talking just last night about having no desire to go to town. This just makes it make sense.

Good Morning My Special One, WOW! I don't think I would ever get behind the wheel again if that happened to me, maybe never in a moving car again.
Coffee sounds good, then finally getting to the store and hope a nice quiet day for a change. Sitting on the porch sound delightful.

Hey OGT...
To put it bluntly, life in the city sucks big time! Luckily, I won't be here much longer!

Truck is working out just fine so far. Hope it stays that way!

Thanks for coming by!

Hey Sue...
Navigator is not a bad job! Unless, of course, you end up in the wrong spot!

I sure do appreciate you coming by today!

Hey Rae...
You look at these pictures and just have to wonder "how did this happen?"

It is pretty funny, except maybe to the drivers!

Thanks for coming by today!

Hey Tony...
Right you are! Looking better and better! Thank goodness I don't have to play in these games any more!

Thanks for coming over, buddy!

Hey Michael...
Does make a strong point for staying at home, doesn't it?

Hey, I appreciate you coming by today!

Hey JoJo...
I know I wouldn't want to ride with anyone that found themself in this situation! Might e catching!

Hope the daughter is doing ok...and I'm gld you have the time to sit on the porch for a bit!

Thanks, sweetie, for coming by today!

Hey Vlad...
Now that you mention it, it does look like portions of 610...that's scary!

Thanks so much or coming by!

Hey K...
Those pictures are pretty funny! i do appreciate the link!

Buying a donkey or a horse may not be a bad idea!

Thanks for coming by today!

And they wonder why my car sits in the driveway? Not that I do this kind of stuff, but it's "the others" out there that make me want to become Amish and buy a horse and buggy!

HermitJim said...

Hey Tatersmama...
I know what you mean about the others on the road! Gets harder all
the time, with so many more drivers coming into Houston!

I may have to get a horse and buggy if I don't get moved to the country pretty soon! Only thing is...here the horse would be stolen and turned into tamales or something! Of course, the HOA would have a fit about the buggy!

Thanks for coming by today...!

Holy moly Jim, those are wild! Can you imagine the look on the drivers' faces when the rescue teams arrived?! lol Probably needed a change of drawers, to boot!

Well, we had a lovely t-shirt wearing day here today...unbelievable!! But snow is coming, my friend! Have a great one.

Hey Cath...
Been more like summer here than winter or fall...! We should be glad for it, I guess...but I would welcome a little fall from time to time, ya know?

Another hurricane headed into the Gulf of Mexico...and that means rain, if not worse! Always something!

Glad you are getting some good weather before the snow...

My most heartfelt thanks for coming by today!

Yes, why do they have to drive like maniacs? Out here in the country side where I live traffic is mostly very calm, but things like these do happen too.
Have a great day now!
