Now This Is Pretty Unique...!

I have to admit that sometimes a new idea comes along that almost makes me want to have one!

I can certainly say that this product caught my eye! I normally don't wear a ring of any kind, maybe because I was married before (several times)but I just don't wear them! Even if I wanted this one in the worse way, I probably couldn't afford it. As far as the cost goes, it's like the old saying "if you have to ask, you really can't afford it!"

Check this out!

CGSociety's Cyber unveils his latest project, the Ring Clock. This gadget is essentially a mechanical ring that has three rings for displaying the hour, minutes, and seconds. An indicator will ensure that the wearer puts it on properly, and the current time will always be highlighted.

Like I said, I could get used to the idea of wearing a ring again if it was something like this one. However, I just can't see how this would be practical for me. I'm just a simple guy and, to tell you the truth, I don't give a damn what time it is for the most part!

Just one of the benefits of being retired, I guess!

C'mon, my friends, let's get some fresh coffee and sit on the patio.

It's a pretty cool gadget. However, the only ring I wear is a thin wedding band. (It was thicker 32 years ago, and I was thinner)

Then there's the fact I don't normally carry a time piece of any sort.

Still, it definitely appeals to the part of me that loves clever gadgets.

Super nifty watch! Went to CG's web site and spent some time there - also very nifty. Saw some great art and animation.
Thanks for the coffee..went well with my homemade three layer chocolate cake. (It's NEVER too early for chocolate cake!)

Most of us are overly conscious of time. The only "time" I pay attention to time is when I have to be somewhere.

OK, I as dense as a rock. Does that thing keep time? of do you just rotate it and look at it? I can't find anywhere for how it works.

I don't wear a watch either. My computer screen has a clock in the corner, office telephone has one as well. And like that character on Cheech and Chong used to say, 'I'm not into Time man', lol.

My wife bought me a shepard's clock. A solar 'watch' of sorts, that uses a hole in the edge like a sundial. Just hold up, and let the sun tell the time. Not really accurate, but hey - its free.

That watch is cool, but its a toy - a cool toy though.

That's a cool looking ring, but it's just concept art. There isn't any way to make it work. No room for motors, springs, batteries, etc. At best there would have to be an "engine compartment" bump off the bottom.

Nice, I have a watch somewhere, I think.

My pocket watch works well for me. I don't wear rings anymore either. Good thing about being Divorces. ;) The pocket watch is there if I really need to know what time it is and outside of the short chain hanging out I never know its there the rest of the time.

I have about 7 watches and none of them work. What does that tell you.

Now for some coffee while waiting for the TV repair guy to show up. You know there time schedule anywhere from sun up to sun set.

Dang, I would have to get out my reading glasses or a magnifing glass to read that watch. Must be for young people only.

Hey Sixbears...
I never took off my wedding ring when I was married, but after the splits...it was gone.

It does sorta appeal to the " toy side", doesn't it?

Thanks for coming over!

Hey Phyllis...
You just had to mention chocolate cake, didn't ya? Now my mouth will be watering all day long!

That's alright, though, any woman that likes TRIPLE layer chocolate cake has got to be cool!

Thanks for coming by today!

Hey Momlady...
I have to go along with you on that one.

I pretty much gave up on wearing a time piece when I retired!

You have a great day, and thanks for dropping in!

Hey Ben...
Made up of 3 separate rings...one for the hour, one for the minutes, bottom one for the seconds.

Each inner ring turns independently of the others, and the hour and minutes are lite up as shown in the pictures.

Hey, thanks for coming by, buddy!

Hey Anon 7:22...
The Shepard's watch sounds pretty cool, and like you said, free is a very good price!

Thanks for coming over today!

Hey JimmyCrackedCorn...
Yep, concept art or not...it does look cool!

I appreciate you coming by this morning!

Hey Bob...
I know exactly what you mean!

Thanks for the visit today!

Hey Tffnguy...
No doubt about it...pocket watches are cool! And they get the job done when needed!

I really appreciate the visit today!

Hey JoJo...
I sure hope you get the television all fixed up today! I know it's a real pain in the backside!

Thanks, sweetie, for coming by today!

Hey DD...
I think most of the gadgets today are for younger folks with younger eyes!

Still, it looks cool!

Thanks for coming by today!

Another one here that doesn't wear a watch or ring.

After reading all this conflicting information and having never flown a musical instrument aboard an airplane before, I started having doubts about bringing my expensive Les Paul guitar with me and I considered bringing one of my cheapo guitars. However, that just wouldn't be "me" and I didn't want to cheat the Texas fans, after all my white Les Paul is a joy to play, sounds killer, and looks sexy hot on me. I just couldn't go without it... Imagine how great it will feel to learn the guitar real fast! Click here to find out about guitar lessons online and soon you'll be strummin away. Em uses the same chords as G, except B7 is used too
